Sharks Deal For Kennedy

The San Jose Sharks have acquired forward Tim Kennedy from the Florida Panthers in exchange for defenseman Sean Sullivan.

Kennedy had 1 goal and 2 points in 27 games for the Panthers this season. The 25-year-old has 11 goals and 29 points in 112 career games for the Sabres and Panthers.

Sullivan, 27, was playing at Worcester in the AHL this season, where he had 5 goals and 24 points in 32 games. He finished with 12 goals in each of his last two minor-league seasons, for Worcester and San Antonio.
