Mike Green has finally made a comeback for the Washington Capitas, and he and his team sincerely hope that this time it is until the end of the season.

The Capitals continue to struggle sitting in ninth place in the East, and they lost Green’s first game back 2-1 to Tampa Bay. Green played a little over 14 minutes, and it is evident that it will take him some time to adjust to the game again. He had played in just 10 of the team’s first 57 games up until yesterday due to a number of injuries. Most recently he had sports hernia surgery, which will hopefully keep him healthy the rest of the way.

Green brings extra jump to this team’s transition game and really adds to a power-play that particularly needs to improve on the road.
